The edges are deep (over 40cm as the patio is raised) so filling them fully with the decorative stone only will be very expensive.     Outside tap not on straight

    Thanks. It seems my latest attempt with PTFE and LS-X is working, so hopefully this will work now. I had to wrap the PTFE around about 30 times, which is much more than everyone seemed to say reading about it. But the tap is a 3 quarter turn off being fully tight so I guess that much was needed...

    I know I’m bringing up an old thread, but can anyone tell me what this adapter is called please? I’m having a nightmare with an outdoor tap not screwing on straight, so it has to stop before the end of the thread is reached, and no amount of PTFE tape and LS-X is sealing the join.
