Hi. I finally got to the bottom of this. The glazing unit is wider than the opening plus one side of the frame. It won't ever slide over enough to come out. It must have been installed when the frame was put together. At least I know now. I'll get another piece which is narrow enough to fit it...

I have. I think I'll just order the new unit and use more force when I replace it. Thanks again

Hi. Yes. Removed the gaskets and beads.

Hi. Sorry to bother you again. I have had a bit of time to look at my door. The gaskets came out and bottom, but the glazed unit wouldn't shuffle sideways far enough. Have you come across this before? Thankyou

Do I need to remove the rubber strips first

Hi. Does anyone know how to replace the double glazing unit in a metal framed door? I can't see how to dismantle the door to remove the unit. Thankyou
