Best way to route waste pipes

(I was talking about the supposition from the OP that the green circles one had been plumbed as it has to stop turds from the soil climbing the double bend waste - it wouldn't happen, but equally if it did those bends wouldn't stop it)

    Surrounded by idiots

Well, it's just a computer doing what it does, working off the garbage that's fed into it I think assuming idiots had much to do with the latest process might be giving them too much credit ! But did they know? But did they know? Sorry.. wrong question.. But can you prove they did know? :)

Refitting a fallen kitchen cupboard to a plasterboard stud wall

Nothing to be sad about. Perfectly adequate for hanging cupboards on Replace a section of plasterboard with ply, put your rail on and be done with it The old fixing was woefully inadequate but yet lasted for years. You're going 20x better; it won't be a problem

If "you're not allowed to pump the mains"..

..why do jet washes get a pass? Is there some threshold of output that power showers breach but jetwashes don't?

32mm solvent elbow angle problem - please help

Eahh.. if you managed to get 15mm welded together I wouldn't worry about it too much. That's a decent overlap for a domestic basin If you wake in the night worrying about it take one of those couplers you have and cut it in half, which gets rid of the internal lip, then cut it lengthways so it...

32mm solvent elbow angle problem - please help

For the connection to the soil, use a strap boss that has a slight angle; ensure you're installing it such that it helps you. If you're using a floplast one you'll also get a bit more lean/variability out of the rubber bung in the boss. Also, solvent weld pipe can be bent and reshaped if you...

    Architect drawings / costs

Yes, you can draw your own plans.. You can work with your building control department to come up with a design that meets regulation in terms of how it's built and planning departments accept DIY plans for where it will be built and what it will look like There will be a lot of research for you...

    Speed detection displays

Warnings signs operate on vehicles travelling towards; Gatsos etc can operate towards but last I knew were only type approved for away. I expect the premise will be similar, that reflected electromagnetic waves will have a different frequency when returned than when emitted and this is used to...

Insulate existing stud wall between garage and utility room

Warm air can hold more moisture. It is not a given. Insulation doesn't cause warm air. Insulation doesn't cause condensation. Houses that have hobs are capable of boiling water. Hobs are a risk Houses that have taps might have more water sloshing around inside them. Taps are a risk How much...

Predator power washer new. No pressure now

But you need to appreciate that all these things you're talking about are pipes with different diameters.. "At the washer" - I presume you mean that brass screw on top of the pressure pump? Small hole; it'll blast out of it Then you connect the pressure hose; large hole, it'll pour out of it...

Predator power washer new. No pressure now

Have you poked something like a needle through the very end of the lance nozzle to ensure it isn't blocked? It's amazing how one bit of sand can nerf a jet wash nozzle. If it does seem blocked (can you see daylight through the nozzle when removed from the handle?) poke it and back-wash it with...

Insulate existing stud wall between garage and utility room

Insulate existing stud wall between garage and utility room

Not necessarily Think you need to put some science behind it and measure with a thermometer, rather than back of handwaving. That draught you feel could just be a thermal cycle caused by some warm thing the other side of the room (a running tumble drier)
