No sorry. I thought id confused things as the picture is upside down. So the part that ive circled actually screw up onto the threaded bit that comes out of the boiler.its this joint that is leaking

Green circle shows where leak is coming from. This is where it conects onto the thread that prodrudes from under boiler

Checked and nothing in the filling loop. Wonder if it was never fitted with one. Found this pic which is nearest i can find and it shows 2 washes and an olive so obviuosly all 3 conections must require a seal

Directly above it is the dhw flow turbine which has a mesh so it wouldnt get through but no sign of owt on the mesh ?

Thanks for the replies. When i push the nut down i can see the top of the inner part and its just metal definately no remnants of any washer

So thats why i pulled the bulb out as i wanted to try and see if it was a separate board. Problem is the metal insert of the spotlight extends further back so i cant see the edges of the board. I could pull the insert but didnt want to risk loostening or disturbing anything further
