ignore the above reply there is a lot of childlish people on here :? sometimes you dont get appliances pre wired. the best thing to do is get an electrician in to sort it out for you :D because you will need the right size cable, fuse ect :wink:

the batteries are brand new duracell its strange because i put a link on the rcd to bypass it and put the meter on normal high current mode and the results were spot on

just got the fluke 1651b test kit( new) when i use the non trip mode im getting high readings is this a setting problem ive used another test kit and got correct results but when i use the fluke its about 15 ohms out :roll: # any ideas :cry:

have you checked for loose conections in the light switch ect :D

if i was you i would do the 2330 level 2 then the 2330 level 3 then 17th eddition then the 2391 but in between the 2330 level 3 and the 17th eddition try and do the ellectrical installation nvq level 3 :wink: thats just my oppinion

you should take a feed from the light fitting to a fan isolator switch then from the fan isolator switch to the fan and dont forget part p :D

i can fill out any cert domesticly epcept minor works :lol: if you look on the eic or pir certs it is different and im sure you have been doing it a lot longer than me now that im looking at it it dose make sence but at the end of the day im just asking a question its not like i...

why do most of you on here like to start a fight over a simple question normally on other certs it ses in accordance with bs7671 with a box next to it or amended to ect its just a question cant you answer it instead of being funny about it

you may have a lose connection in the light before that one the next room ect :D

im adding a co detector off a lighting circuit (additional) in trunking im going to do a minor works cert but dose it have to be rcd protected domestic

so dosent he have to bring the lighting circuits upto the 17th eddition to issue me with a domestic installation cert :roll:
