    What would you do?

    i always find that when im doing pir tests. the cables to the smokes should be earthed what i normaly do is get a bit of slack on the cables and redo them :D

    alright lads just a quick one im doing a periodic domestic cert (test) on a flat it has two ccu,s one for the sockets cooker lights ect and the other ccu is for the storage heaters should i do seperate certs or both on the same one :roll:

    yes take a feed from that to a switched fuse spare and a 3amp fuse use the same size cable from the socket to the sfs then from the sfs you can use 1.5 ect :D

    whats the light off the back door getting its feed from? you could spare off a socket circuit to a switch fuse spare if you have any close to the light you want 2 install at the side of your house
