    Removing concrete from Victorian terrace

What kind of issues were you envisaging? It's not supporting anything but that shed. I don't see any manhole covers. The only issue I can think of is that it's going to be a lot of waste concrete to get rid of! Looks like quite a damp climate, so take drainage into account in your new design -...

Smart socket adaptors, which do what?

I am using LocalBytes wifi smart plugs. They ship with a choice of firmware and do energy monitoring but you have to calibrate them yourself - not exactly straightforward. They work with Home Assistant and probably other platforms as well.

Product not performing as required - Bricklights

If they're aware of the issue then they should update the specs on their website!

Product not performing as required - Bricklights

Read the product spec more carefully. "Each fitting comes with angled cable glands and fast-fix terminal block, allowing for quick installation.".

    Hardwood sleeper treatment

I can't see how it wouldn't help. It means that one face on each sleeper, that would normally be in contact with the ground, won't be.

Where did Job and Knock go?

That crossed my mind too but the style seems a bit different.

What can I do with this rotten sleeper?

How about, scrape out the rot as planned but just "veneer" it with some treated boards. Less fiddly and quicker. You will be able to reuse the boards elsewhere as this is only a temporary bodge.

    ISP Cable Types

They did mine [fibre] in the loft no bother. I can imagine some jobsworth could come up with a reason why not to, but my loft is boarded and has a sensible folding ladder for access.

    RTS turn off

Multi-hundred-kilowatt valves are not going to be a COTS item. Dream on. A bit of Googling suggests they were made by English Electric Valves, which became Teledyne E2V Thales...

    EV CHARGING AND FUSE

It's not mandatory to charge at Granny's when visiting.

    EV CHARGING AND FUSE

If you're talking about manufacturer figures [ie, WLTP] then they're not true miles, they're just a comparator figure.

    EV CHARGING AND FUSE

Worked for me for years but I'm reluctant to just say "yeah, crack on, you'll be fine". I paid particular attention to the temperature of the socket and plug when in use.

    EV CHARGING AND FUSE

Maybe, but the OP won't be installing the EVSE themselves, they'll be getting someone qualified to do it.

    Cooling the home, methods?

My cat actually jumps out of our upstairs windows. No way would I suffer in a sweltering house just in case he does something silly.

Circular retaining brick edging on a slope

It's a matter of taste. Perhaps nobody would notice. Perhaps you wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't mentioned it! If the wall was rendered, it wouldn't be noticeable. You could avoid the question entirely by just edging it in brick rather than having a small wall.

    Composite decking help

I can only assume you haven't actually seen one - the smaller head is the point.

Circular retaining brick edging on a slope

You may or may not be bothered by this but I think it might look odd if it didn't "echo" what that wall behind it does, ie sloping from 1 - 3 bricks. If your plan is simply to lay a single course of bricks and fill just to that depth with soil then you risk something that dries out and needs...

Can you hear a whooshing sound? I believe he was employing humour.
