yes when I switch the timer on by sliding it to on nothing happens..usually the boiler springs to life Inside the boiler the the green switch is always set to hot water and radiator. yes it is a turbomax vuw 242 when I turn on the hot water by tap...the ignition comes on, hot water emerges...

I have Vaillant Turbo max VUW 242 it is 5 years old. It has always been reliable. But today I turned on the heating and got nothing :( The light for the raditors didn't switch on and it doesn't fire up at all. it hit it a few times ( it works with the TV) but nothing. I have had a lot work...
