problem solved by flushing system out twice and by being more attentive to detail! Now have hot water and hot rads except for one downstairs. Is it just because it's old, or am I cursed? Hey, croydoncorgi, it was the bubbles what done it I think but what do I do now?

New boiler fitted to old system--combi to cylinder. Cylinder,header tank and excess pipes removed and system is now sealed. Hot water but no heating, should there be a bypass valve in the heating circuit or is there a more sinister reason? please HELP!
