Thank you for your advice, it seems a lot more complicated than I thought. All the other 4 locks have slightly different keys. I thought I might get away with a hairpin as they do on the films. So I will have to call my locksmith after Christmas. Luckily I have another bedroom!

Thank you but I’m an 82 yo lady who loves doing her own repairs still, what is the lug and latch plate? I have a multi tool so part of the way there. I would love to do this myself if possible.

I locked an internal door which has an old lock and have lost the key. Most YouTube videos are for more modern locks. Is it possible to pick this myself? I’ve seen lots of different tools on line but any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Can anyone offer any advice as my Bosch WFF 1201 machine stopped mid cycle today just before the spin of course and I have emptied the washine and water all over the floor. I got great advice when a bra wire caused a whirring noise so any help would be appreciated. thank you
