Hi just tried this - the fan seemed to stay on longer than the flames but did also then cut out. What do you reckon?! Shaun

thanks Pete not sure if the fan stays on or not but will check this - as you say hopefully only the thermocouple. Will let you know how i get on in the New Year! Cheers Shaun

Hi yes it's a fan flued one, the Baxi wentworth deluxe chrome. According to the user guide the thermocouple part is manf ref 245245, which is no longer produced by Baxi. However just checked out the following thermocouple supplier which looks like a possible replacement...

Hi we have a problem with our Baxi Wentworth deluxe. Basically it will fire up but then cuts out after about 15 seconds or so. Any ideas what this could be? We have had a gas engineer out who looked puzzled and said it could be the thermocouple but wouldn't like to say for sure! Thanks...
