Thanks for the lead Mike - I'll contact B&Q and see if any of their hinges close to - 45 degs.

Does anybody know a source for cabinet door hinges (of the type typically used on kitchen unit doors) that will close to minus 45 degrees (and open to at least + 90 degrees) - Any help would be much appreciated
