boiler thermo i think. think it does both tbh

cracked open the drain valve an air started to come out of bleed nipples so shut it off. All rads now heating up but the controller under my gas fire (baxi bermuda 401) seems to have no effect and it blazes away all day non stop ?

nothing coming out :( no water or any air !

Yes tge tank was very merky and not freezing cold as if it haf back flushed ?

put 2 new rads on today (one upstairs one down) an now only downstairs are heating up properly an only half upstairs ! checked an no pressure. Its an old bexi bermuda 401 back boiler. Thanks guys

Sorry sammy i was using my phone last night and was at work. I think my rendour is just from old age an its as bad all over the house not in one certain place tbh. How much did yours cost in total ? ill be having my guttering and sofits an facias done whilst the scafs up :)

Have a look in my profile images :-D been told its just the paint flakin off! Not sure of yhe condition of the rendering underneath. I imagine it will need patchin up of somesort but its havin the money to do it. An this time of year isnt best :-( cheers for the reply mate Jon

Guys i have Rendering flaking off on the front of the house ! (see pics) its alot worse in places but this was the lowest an best pic i could get. One of my friends said it looks like Masonry paint an not Rendering ? im confused which is it ? Masonry paint or rendering ? cheers Jon

cheers m8 youve been a great help ! one more thing one of the 2x3 has come away from the main support beam ! it was nailed in from above, im now thinking if i were to screw it back up (from below) to the main support beam it wouldnt hold (as its already weak an screwing a 6" screw through it...

the leaking has been fixed as no water lol but i have yet to fit the new ball cok etc im going to take out the tanks and replce with marine board .

right guys took down the plasterboard and insulation down (this was very wet) and the support beams are wet through ! i imagine it will dry out but im worried they wont be strong an be weak ? there is a main support beam that runs diagonally from corner to corner of the house (this is dry an 3"...

yes im thinking that the effected plaster board will need replacing and re plastering. However the beams that the plaster board are nailed too are wet, will these rot an get weak ? the insulation will need replacing too as this will be wet, an i suspect weighing the plaster board down (aswell as...

hi guys my header tank has leaked (faulty ballcock) now all my bedroom ceiling is wet an needs replacing as the plaster is cracking badly ! im worried about the beams that support my roof ! will it affect these and my roof come crashing down !
