    Hi, I have a potterton suprima 40 boiler and was wondering if it would be cheaper / more efficient to have the heating on whilst the water is heating up?? Currently the water is heated twice a day ( morning / evening ) for about 1 hour each time ( does it use the same flame ?)

I have a potterton suprima 40 boiler and when the hot water tap is opened , after about a few seconds there is a hum in the pipework and when the tap is turned off it remains for a few more seconds.The only way i have managed to stop...
