    stopped working. It did turn but didnt get warmer or colder when turned. Only way to change temperature was click on High or Low Button, low was too cool, high was about right. Maybe that was the water control valve.

    on the gainsborough site they recommend the Stanza 8.5 which is 119 http://www.gainsboroughshowers.co.uk/shower-store/electric-shower/Stanza-85-white/ but cheaper elsewhere 80 at plumbworld. When you said colenoid coil is that the same as a solenoid valve in the picture below...
