Attaching fence post to concrete wall

Looks like the wall may be more of a base as it goes back 12+cm. You're right though, concrete is probably the sensible way to go.

Attaching fence post to concrete wall

Thanks for the reply! My thinking with the one I found was to slot it into the gap so the wings are flush with the wall with the post in the gap. Screw the wings to the wall using concrete screws & pre drilled holes. Won't be attached at the back but looks like it's not designed to be anyway.

Attaching fence post to concrete wall

A fence post in our back garden snapped in the wind. There is a low (30cm high) concrete wall/base between our garden and the neighbors driveway. It looks as if this had spaces for the posts left when it was made, so the concrete continues along the back of the slot. I'm thinking of fixing the...

Best option for filling large-ish gaps?

We've taken the coving down in our hallway and found some pretty large gaps between the walls and ceiling that will need filling before we put up wallpaper (aren't looking to put any coving back up). What would be the best/easiest way to fill the gaps?

    Fixing gap in brick shed

We have a brick garage where some of the cement(?) on top of the wall has come off, leaving a gap between the top of the wall and the roof. How can I go about replacing this in a way that doesn't look terrible? Just regular cement and try to shape it to match the existing layer? Any better options?

Fixing a missing vent from the inside.

Ah, good point. House is 1920s and that room used to have a fireplace. I'm guessing without that and the fact windows now have trickle vents its less needed.

Fixing a missing vent from the inside.

Nope - last one is the outside view, taken from neighbors window. The rest are inside, before and after removing the vent cover. Tried to get some close ups of inside.

Fixing a missing vent from the inside.

Our neighbour let us know that an outside vent on our house had fallen off. It's an awkward location to get to as there's no direct ladder access underneath. I can access the other side of the vent in a cupboard upstairs, so I'm wondering if this is something I could fix/replace from inside? It...
