Thanks so much for your help. It’s a wired base and wireless battery powered thermostat. The terminals don’t even tighten up properly to hold the wire, I’m going to have to send it back and just get an old fashioned dial thermostat I think. Thanks again.

Hi, my toilet is dripping from where the 15mm pipe joins to the inlet valve. I’m not sure if the plastic on the inlet selves thread may be cracked? There’s main stop tap is very tricky to undo once tightened, it’s on lead pipe so ideally don’t want to mess with that. It’s a boxed in toilet...

Hi mate I am thinking of doing the fillet this week, whats the usual reason for doing that please ? I've seen it on a few houses, often painted. Also it's a concrete floor so I guess that's not helping. Any advice would be appreciated Thanks

Does the fillet seem to be something that might help?

Yes it seems to get the worst of the driving rain, although it's generally a cold flat with a fairly high humidity level. They suggested that as they thought the amount of water running down was soaking in at the bottom. I think the area near the door doesn't get much sun also.

Ideally if I can reduce the rain hitting the wall hopefully it would help.

Thanks, there's no mention of scaffolding , quoted just under 500 quid. To remove all old base on chimney cap chimney off Then rebase chimney all rubbish removed gutters cleaned with a 10 years warranty I'm not sure what he means by remove old base etc.
