    I’m renovating a house I’ve purchased 1930s there is a wooden picture rail embedded in the wall at about 7ft mark all round every room this was hidden by wallpaper. Question is can I plaster over this or does it have to come out. It’s about 100mm wide 70mm thick thanks

    odd are you the fbi ffs. It’s my mother’s house I’ve been there once it’s an old house I do say it has no plaster board old walls. Yes there’s a chimney breast. if you don’t have a helpful info pipe down.
