    But it's screwed into the shower tray. I was thinking it's possibly a heated shower base, if that's a thing. Although I've never noticed it ever being warm. I haven't seen an exit but also haven't looked at all of the underside.

    Hi, Should I be able to see down into my cavity wall? Should it not be capped in some way? This front room along with the WC below are the coldest rooms in the house and I am considering adding insulation under the rafters. Here is a very rough sketch.
