    The sealant which is in the pic is rock hard unlike silicone. All the dirt is stuck there now The front window has 3 panes each one is central in the frame but the big pane looks too small as it is on the very edge of the seal. I hope this makes sense

    Should the trim(architrave) be over the top of the other trim and not be sitting behind it?? Also how far should the panes of glass be sitting inside the frame(behind the seal) Some are 1mm and others 10mm or more. Thanks

    I asked him to leave the trims off the inside of the house and fill the gap with expanding foam so i could plaster to the window. He said it couldn't be done with foam because of the cavity but he could of used it. He just didnt want to spend any more money than he had to. I just need loads of...

    That is how the bottom of the cill is done. Only because he had silicone all over the brick cill and i asked him to cover it. As for the sides of the windows they have a 50mm trim on it to cover the old silicone "his words" . Could also be for other reasons too
