Should i cut out a small section of wall plate
A bit at a time and replace with block. So block surrounding joist all the way around

Hi All .building an extension myself and had some help getting to first floor the builders put down a wood wall plate then joists ontop. Then blocked on the plate up to top. Not seen this before. Inner block work sitting on wood
