    Ingersoll lock screw size

Thanks for trying, I ordered some replacement parts from someone that sold them, however the backplate seems out sync by a few MM. Decided to just buy a complete new lock that was on offer with free fitting. I'll save the Ingersoll for the inner door we have.

    Ingersoll lock screw size

Thanks but at £10 delivery I was trying to avoid that since they are just machine screws.

    Ingersoll lock screw size

I have an SC71 and have misplaced the screws that I took off when I painted the door. The screws are the four that go into the cylinder, I know they are just machine screws but can't seem to find the size of them anywhere, does anyone know what they are?

    Which Fein unit?

You can, you have to buy AMPSHARE tools https://fein.com/en_uk/ampshare/ https://www.ampshare.com/ The battery that I have from my Bosch tools are the older ones which are the standard 4amp and 5amp GBA not the new generation of ProCore. However, they all work.

    Which Fein unit?

Ended up going for the 700, haven't properly used it yet, but all the Bosch batteries I have work with it, happy with that.

    Which Fein unit?

Did decide that, now just have to device black or orange. Asked the question also if the black is in the promotion as they have taken it off the website. Update - just had confirmation the black edition isn't eligible for the promotion - Orange it is!

    Which Fein unit?

Looking to replace my corded Fein tool, got bored of trying to keep stretching the long cord around the place. I came to the realisation that they now use Bosch Batteries. Since I have a lot of those, I can just get the bare tool. The questions - 1. Do you go for the AMM 700 over the AMM...

repairing and painting the front door

Had some feedback from technical at Repari Care, they said the groves are too small to usse the standard items and that I should use SuperFinish. For the joints on the rear with the movement I would have to router out 10mm to use the standard repair care stuff. Did email Oxera but they...

repairing and painting the front door

Hi, Thanks for all the replies, I saw that you can get a 1 tube version of the repair care - I really don't fancy buying a gun just to do one door. I see what you mean about painting the panels. I've attached an image from the back and front of the door so you can see the issue. While it...

repairing and painting the front door

I'm going to finally get some time to finish and repair the front door. Nothing major wrong with it other than the panels have hairline cracks in them (images to follow). I have filled them previously and it hasn't worked. I used the 2 part filler, it lasts for sometime and then the weather...

Bosch laser level choice - which one?

I understand about usage, I will need it while we renovate the house, how much I will use it after that who knows but that is like everything. I've ordered the green, managed to get it under £100 with the discount and a couple of vouchers I had. I'll claim for the LR7 and decide when it...

Bosch laser level choice - which one?

That's given me food for thought - didn't think about floor wobble and you are indeed correct. The items you are eligible for under the terms of the promo are - 1. Tripod 2. Detector 3. Ceiling clamp (as it comes with the other clamps) Cost wise value with the green the detector is best...

Bosch laser level choice - which one?

I think both units are the same in respect of what they can do here, not sure which model you are referring to that you would get instead. The red has the same promo as the green but the only thing I would get (since the kit has everything else) is the tripod. With the green as I mentioned...

Bosch laser level choice - which one?

The red kit was - Bosch Professional Laser Level GCL 2-50 (Red Laser, Interior, 3x AA, Laser Diode: 630 - 650 nm, Self Leveling +/- 4°, in Carrying Case) number: 0 601 066 F01 and the Green was just the laser - WITH 4 X BATTERY (AA), ROTATING MOUNT RM 10 number: 0 601 066 M00 I know you get...

Bosch laser level choice - which one?

I’m getting a laser level but a little undecided on which one to go for. The two options are the Bosch red laser GCL 2-50 or it’s green equivalent. The other benefit is the bang for buck, the red comes with a few extras but the green has nothing. Option 1 (link removed) Option 2 (link...
