Slight musty smell near the front door so I’ve removed the skirting board to reveal some damp proof membrane and slight dusty mould. Can I simply extend the membrane as it appears to not reach the floor? Or is it a bigger issue? Not damp to touch and no other areas with signs of damp etc.

That makes sense. The beading at the bottom round some of the house is a mess too. Thanks

Hi Can anyone confirm if it looks as though the lintel has failed? 1930’s semi and new patio doors were installed by the previous owners approx 4 years ago. There’s no cracks etc internal and doesn't appear to be visibly sagging. Noticed it last year and it doesn’t seem to be getting any...
