Loft leg different heights and general questions

Thanks, I am not sure the timber would provide enough space for the insulation, it's pretty darn thick. Thinking I might attach another timber baton to the existing (blue) one and then attach the legs to that.

Loft leg different heights and general questions

Hi there Our loft is partly boarded already, directly onto the joists. It's only a small area and makes it easier to access the loft so I don't mind despite it not being best practice. The rest of the loft is un-boarded with lots of insulation. I would like to board a section of the loft for...

Efflorescence - is it a problem?

Thanks for the feedback everyone and for putting my mind at rest somewhat! I've brushed off the majority of the crystals and the wall looks much better. There is a drain in the centre of the carport that prevents any big pools forming, but the floor will usually stay damp after heavy rain or...

Replacing sink - best approach with 10mm microbore

Morning all, I am replacing a sink in a small downstairs bathroom with a new vanity style basin. The existing pipework is 10mm microbore plastic pipes with a push fit connected to an isolating valve connected to a 10mm copper pipe which was connected to the old taps (see images: example1 /...
