Finally managed to get back to the freezer, and got the operating module prized off (slipped a thin paint scraper down both left and right sides which pushed in the clips holding it in, see photo), and found the rotating arm on the flap had snapped (just like on the other thread). But no one...

Thanks for that thread, much appreciated. I had a look, hate to say it but still not so sure about how I actually detach the flap … did see mention of 2 credit cards but a bit more detail would really help before I tear in and start snapping things off :cry:.

I’ve got a Bosch American fridge freezer, model KAI90VI20G/05, a few years old and just recently it stopped dispensing ice. Note it has NO problem making the ice(y), it’s just that the flap on the door doesn’t open to let the ice out :(. I’ve tried to figure out how to take the flap unit out but...
