Is it possible to fit a dry verge to a roof where rosemary tiles are nailed directly to sarking boards, without battens? I'm in Scotland. 1960's bungalow. Mortar from wet verge was noted to have disintegrated and recommended to fix. Recommended local roofers installed a 'dry verge' of sorts...
