Here's the tap & fittings out of the sink, still can't work out why the cartridge wouldn't come away. Anyway, new tap now fitted

Issue is I cannot remove the sleeve, its well & truly stuck. New tap me thinks

I did try that yesterday & Google images were directing me to hottub parts!

I've managed to get it to the top of tap but it won't come out, even with pliers, screwdriver etc. Its almost like its attached to the bottom of the tap itself?

I'm now resorting to brute force! The black sleeve of cartridge just won't come out. Ive tried WD40, boiling water & white vinegar. Im having to try and chip away at it bit by bit. Any ideas?

Hi, 1st tap done, on to my 2nd. Have taken the cartridge out but, it came out in 3 pieces! I've attached pics. Not sure if the black sleeve still inside tap also needs to come out? It seems sturdy. I cannot locate a replacement cartridge which looks like this one, do I need to replace the whole...

Thanks! I thought that was part of the tap itself as so narrow! Sprayed with WD40 & managed to get a grip and off it came! Next question, I see these are readibly available on Amazon but can I source at plumbers merchant/screwfix/b&q?

Hi, Dripping tap, thought I would have a go at fixing this myself. I've removed the handle & sleeve but can't figure out how to remove the cartridge? I can twist the white square spindle 1/2 turn only & it won't pull up on it's own? I've attached pics. Thanks
