    Soffit Trim

I have one final question. What type of trim do you use where the new soffit butts up to the existing fascia board?...... if any.

    Soffit direction

The new soffit will be width ways coming from the wall to the right. (See picture). At the corner, should the soffit go the other way, ie 90⁰ angle, or carry on straight but obviously longer lengths. Then it carries on down the alleyway to the left.

    Soffit installation

They are Rosewood at £25 per sheet. So works out at £4 per sheet. Even then, I do take your point. Probably about 5 sheets to cover that area, so only £20 loss. Thanks, ..... good advice.

    Soffit installation

The problem is, the width is 1.4 meters. With 5 meter boards, there would be an awful lot of waste.

    Soffit installation

I want to install new soffit bords to the roof overhang and down the alleyway by the side of the garage. Where should the first board be placed? I'm using 5m x 300mm boards and going to run them lengthways.
