    You must be right - how did you guess my water comes from the burn? It is very soft too. This wasn't mentioned to me when it was installed. So I guess I should get a stainless steel one next or maybe a copper McDonald Engineers one? Thanks Lizzie

    As I said I know nothing about tanks but why did it not last? Should I have been replacing the anode or was the tank just a bad one? Yorktank and yorkpark have gone out of business so no help there. Pity as I have a Yorkpark boiler too. Thanks Lizzie

    Hi My Yorktank NBRU 130 unvented tank has only lasted 8 years so I need a replacement. It sprung a leak and when I removed the insulation I found a severely corroded mess of a tank. I am sure it should have lasted longer as it had "a double enamelled internal lining" but maybe the plumber...
