A 2kw electric fire. I was hoping to plug it directly into a 13 amp fuse socket i have already but the appliance came with a molded plug i can't alter.
Is it ok to plug an electrical appliance (which is fitted with a molded 13 amp plug) into a normal plug socket or does it also need a special 13 amp socket as well?
