hello guys just a quick one is it ok to use a garage consumer unit to spur off a ring main into a lighting circuit only because it has a 6 amp mcb and a 16 amp mcb in the unit thinking of using 6 amp for lights and 16 amp for ceiling fan maybe reducing that mcb to less for fan. cheers...

is it ok to extend my ring main from exsisting wall double socket,put 3-4 more sockets and then spur off and put a 5 amp fuse box and then add lighting off that circuit. think its ok just need some advice
