fitting new toilet and the back of the old one is connected to the soil pipe with a rubber "bandage" which spans the 2 mm gap .. It has been on for 40 years and works fine.. Can you still get these ... The merchants keep want to sell me Multikwik .. I have attached a picture of how it is...
