    Fitting a new pendant light and the fuse blows

    I am fitting a new pendant light and having problems. Once connected and the fuse replaced the lights start to flicker, the unit starts to buzz ( There appears to be a transfirmer within the unit ) and then the fuse in the cunsumer unit blows. I am replacing a pendant with a single bulb...
