Hi there, I have one of these in a chimney Brest it originaly had a grill covering it, should I put it back or is better to have it with no cover it looks a bit unsightly! but is there a chance of the boiler getting too hot with it fitted?

The one that controls the Central heating seems to have packed up, does anyone know who made them? is there a replacement? Or can they be fixed?

I have a boiler which was fitted in the fireplace when I moved in for hot water and Central heating, it has a flue that goes up the chimney we had French doors which had two grills for ventilation we've just got double glazed doors and now need a wall vent to allow fresh air for the boiler...
