    dimmer switch (over 400W)

    i have just fitted 9 x 50W mains voltage spotlights, and cannot find a dimmer switch with a rating over 400W. the only ones i can find are the \\\'touch \\\' type dimmers. does anyone know if the normal (chrome) type dimmers, with the turning knob, exist, and know where i can obtain one?? :?
