I intend to look at with a view to buy, a clean low millage 2013 Fiat Punto van, it has the 1.3 Multi jet engine. Any common issues to look for on the Engine ? Has it a cam belt or chain ?

I am in the process or replacing the N S steering rack boot on my Mk1 Honda CRV. The original one had small pipe connector on it that went to a small hose approx dia about 6 mm?? I am assuming its a drain hose of some sort ? The replacement (s) do not have this feature, is it important ?

How do able is replacing a the Head Gasket on a 2 Liter 2003 Rav 4 petrol, car is low millage and, was standing unused for 2 to 3 years. Put back on the road then the head gasket went . Would it be straightforward ?

Does any recommend of had success fitting the glue together CV Boots, not looking to keep the motor much more than another year. Seen some on line for about £15, quoted £48 at my local Motor Factors and he did not think much of them !

I have been offered a really nice clean very low millage 2002 Toyota RAV 4 , apparently it runs ok but the Engine management light indicates Oxygen sensor. Not sure if any one has tried to reset it. Could this be big trouble ? Is it worth a punt ? Appinions and info much appreciated.

I've have used toothpaste successfully, but the last one I did I used 2000 and 2500 grade wet and dry, much quicker.
