Has anyone got or ever used a Black and Decker Scorpion ES890EC(jigsaw and handsaw)? Is it any good. Will it comfortably cut 4"x4" fence posts? It says it will cut 100m timber? They do them in B&Q for £40.

Can someone tell me why most joist hangers (timber to timber) are 50mm in width, when mmost timber joists are 2" (47mm). Why the 3mm difference? I am undertaking a small decking project and want to purchase 47mm joist hangers for 2" x 4" joists.
