Right I have climbed over the tank and there is a heat coil at work at present i will try and bleed tonight when i get in. Will try at coil if bleed valve is installed and at pump. Water was hot this morning which puzzles me even more.

two tanks in loft heating top up tank and hot water topup tank water tank. the tank label says vented hot water cylinder

just checked the tank one pipe at the top and one at the bottom then the instalation manual and the system seams to be an open vented gravity hot water and pumped central heating system I dont have a divertor valve and no heat coil so am very confused

yes the two pipes on the cylinder are cold Why would an air lock develop? have I a leak I dont think i have a heat coil on my tank there is only the 2 pipes on the tank

pipe from boiler is hot but top and bottom of the tank are cold

sorry should of explained myself better the boiler is only on hot water at the moment

Hi the boiler is gravity hw and pumped heating so does the pump need to run? if it does it may be air locked as i changed a rad and valves last week but it worked fine till last night.

Hi wonder if anybody can help ? I have a kingfisher mf rsl 50 it will not run for long on, demand from the programmer the boiler fires up but soon the flame goes out. 10 mins later the boiler fires up again and so on untill programmer turns off. please help regards mark

how thick am I got a copy of the programmers instructions and now I know how to set up the hot water program. the thing works fine now :oops:

if therew is a screw**x near you they will be half the price.

I have tried reseting the original programmer and now that is on in all positions except off. The heating side works fine still and the problems only started when the heating side was switched off for the summer.will try with the new programmer but don't hold out much hope I am totally puzzled...

yes changed like for like 2" square and switched the 10/16 switch to 10 as was.The programmer is on in all positions of hw,etc the off position.The old programmer would not work in the timed position or once.

Wonder if anyone can help I have a fault with a kingfisher mf boiler. The time switch for the hot water was not cycling on so changed it now it stays on all the time.The system is gravity hot, pumped heating with no room stats or cylinder stat. Also no diverter valve. left scratching my head at...
