The AAV has started leaking so even though I haven't managed to remove the screw, loosening it seems to have done some good. Am I right to assume that if its leaking water then there is no air in it(tiny wee drip coming out of it)? That being said we still have no hot water. Any more ideas?

Hi Tony, Thanks for your message. Yes youre right I should have stayed with the original thread. Im new to this and was just not getting any more replies to the original thread so thought that maybe its now become old and forgotten. Any ideas on how to loosen that AAV? Cheers, David
