Thanks for the replies. Sorry, I don't think I explained myself very well here, the sink will fit under the working surface rather then over it so the cutout in the wood is going to be exposed for the world to see. :)

I need to cut two round holes for an inset bowl sink&drainer in a solid wood worktop. I know that if I attempt this with a jigsaw, the edge of the cutout is going to look ragged. If there a special tool I can hire to do this or am I just missing the point entirely? :)
