Hi no it does not do it in dry conditions i owned another escort van (p reg) and it did the same thing, it must be quite common for two vans ive owned to have the same problem, ill check it over and see but i checked the p reg van over when i had that one and had no joy. regards matt

Hi Can anyone help me i have a Ford escort 2000 x reg van and in wet weather i may as well leave it at home. I can start it up and run it then sudenly it will start to loose power and the cut out even if im moving. when i try to start it again the battery light flashes. i have had a new battery...
