    That could work yes, although I'm not sure it would be enough. My concern would be that the strength of the post would be compromised by drilling and bolting it directly. As it's an Argos product I think it may need a bit more support?

    Ok, perhaps I wasn't clear. To run the waste pipe from the dishwasher at height would cause me problems as it would need to go behind an oven. I was wondering if I could run an extended waste pipe from the dishwasher, along the ground underneath the kitchen units then up to the drainage pipes...

    Having decided to go for a combined fridge freezer we now have space for a dishwasher. There is no problem with the feed for the cold water and power but the sink is quite a way away, is there a maximum length for the drainage hose and is it ok to run it along the ground? Thanks in advance!
