What is the best item to replace a leaking TRV?

We don't freeze pipes on a domestic systems not worth the agro especially on hot summer days. Do as John D recomends, it's a no-brainer, and lots cheaper (y) plus .............................eco-friendly.:)

    Leaking TRV

New valve time not worth repairing TBH. Just do it and forget it, and look forward to Christmas, simples. It looks like 10 mm pipe to me so be prepared for a reducer set inside or a 10 mm valve. Pull carpet back, isolate other valve, release pressure or bung (OH) and Aqua-Vac while doing job...

Honeywell three port motorised valve - replace the whole thing? And other questions...

Just change the head plus cover with the ball and hand clean the ports. A 22 mm complete valve will do as the internal bodies are the same.

    Rotten flexible WC connector

Yes they can. I think they are after some nuts or some such.

    Rotten flexible WC connector

Best find a permanent fixture using solid soil pipe, even rodents can lift rodent barriers. Sorry, McAlpine, but they do.

    shower isolation valves

Very, very, rarely have I seen isolating valves for bar mixers with the pipework behind the walls, let alone electric showers. A good reason for not fitting anything Triton,(y) you will learn as I did.

    Got toilet leak

Change the isolating valve. Change the flush cone and cistern connection. Change the internal syphon valve. Change the fill valve (while you're are at it). Change the WC connection to soil pipe if it leaks, it's a bodged connection. Empty bowl of water and check inlet to pan for partially...

    Plumbing en-suite

The only way it can be done is to have two junctions, one above the other. One of the toilets must go down to the next level in the building if space allows.

Suprima heat exchanger swap & derust?

For now. Cast iron Boilers kettles for a reason. Calchem or boiler silencer may fix it for a short period. Would not replace hex, waste of time.

Suprima heat exchanger swap & derust?

I think the RGI will advise that you get a new boiler. This one was notorious at PCB breakdown and never really resolved 100% despite many "improvements". Not worth the agro.

Shower diverter cartridge identification, help please!

Shut off the water and drain, remove brass cartridge with a box spanner (set available any Tool Station) use an Auqua vac if you have one for excess water. Then all will be easier to identify.

Shower diverter cartridge identification, help please!

You will have to remove the brass (flow) cartridge to see what the replacement will be. A lot of showers have generic innards that are common, hopefully, you will have one of these. Removal of the chrome shroud with the two holes will make this easy.
