Thanks for all the replys.... I'll start working through them (starting with the easier ones first) and let you know what I find.... One point that I didnt make clear is that when there is demand for central heating the boiler doesnt start... if there is demand for hot water the boiler...

Hi, I have a Potterton Profile 60E boiler, seems to operate fine for the hot water but not for the central heating... as soon as you switch the hot water on, you can hear the boiler firing up and everything is fine.... but if you switch the central heating on nothing happens??? the hot water...
