Its just plasterboard and artex, no laths. I'm 90% positive its the joists that are making it uneven so will need to sort them out, all new wiring in already. Can u explain more about " shim-out before the p/board goes up." please Thanks

I know some DIY work can be undertaken in your own house without any qualifications, but could a unqualified person carry out minor work in someone elses house? For e.g. Could a electrically unqualified handyman install an extra spur socket on a ring circuit?

i live in a terrace house in swansea, i have a stone wall 7m long, 2mhigh and a foot wide running down my garden and a 5m long 1.8 and a foot wide again im also have a old breezeblock shed 1m by 3m. I want this all taken down, there is no access to my garden so it has to go through my house...
