Problem with Triton Opal 2 electric shower

Well no luck. Triton are not nice. :( They said if it was 1 week after the end of the 2 year quarantee period then they would have sorted it, but 3 weeks is too long! They said that all they can do is send out an engineer but I would have to pay £90 upfront on a credit card before they even...

Problem with Triton Opal 2 electric shower

I doubt it was very much like that. It was my mum that was there, and I doubt she was hawk eyeing him! Anyway he knows her as he sorted my grandad's shower too. I hear now that plumbers charge £60 an hour anyway. Plumbers do alright.

You know, I wish I was confident in doing something like this - as I bet its dead simple. But water and electrics seems a dangerous place to dabble! I've researched this particular shower and it seems to commonly have PCB and solenoid valve problems, which is what happened to my old one 2...

Problem with Triton Opal 2 electric shower

I have just checked and I bought the shower October '06 :( So its just out of the guarantee period. How typical is that! I have just tried the shower again, water comes out, but it doesn't sound right - like a motor like noise and the low pressure light turns on when its on the hot water...
