done this loads of times, concrete base, visqueen, kingspan or celotex. then we have put flooring boards down cant remember what you call them. anyway boards down glued together and tile on top of that.

this is the type of job i do, digging the footing is easy, its the muck thats the problem. its normally the access that causes all the headaches. i charge £170 a day for me and mini digger all in, no hidden extras.

hi all, job i'm looking at mo is house next to road. the road is slopping up past the house. the tarmac is layed right up to the house about 2 foot above where the damp coarse should be. the house is very damp at this point inside. i was going to dig a trench in the road up against the house...

yes we did this, planning no prob. coucil tax went up 1 band. i am in cheshire.we started with a end terrace of a row of 3 then bought next door and nocked through. we have since bought the other end 1. but that is still classed as a seperate house.

on the 2nd shot below the red circle and behind the bottom hinge, the pointing is different [why]. plus where the timber frame is attached to the house why have they cut through the wall where its steps out instead of cutting the frame to suit. just my thoughts. cheers diggerjones

i would agree you've got a good looking wall there. it would be a shame to cover it up. just clean it up and point it. good look diggerjones
