    Controlling heating using your mobile

Sorry but were getting slightly off topic here. I didn't want this to get into a debate about the most efficient way on how to heat a home - I was more interested if anyone had used this product or similiar. It seems like a quality item, has all the functions of a normal control unit, but...

    Controlling heating using your mobile

I dont really know the most efficient way to run a boiler and I dont want to overcomplicate this, but I would have thought it was not to leave it on at 20' plus when there is nobody in the house. My issues are: 1. I am continually leaving the house and forgetting to either turn the heating...

    Controlling heating using your mobile

Sorry but I dont think this is a gimic! The same thing was said when texting was introduced to mobile phones! We are often out late or working or away for the weekend/holiday and dont know exactly when are going to get home. I think it would be really useful to switch the heating on or...

    re-fitting shower tray

Wow, what an excellent forum this is! Thanks for all your help - I will measure and see if I can get an 800 * 900 tray. This seems by far the best solution. I always have used Dow Corning 785 silicone sealant for any work I have done and it has served me very well - it was recommended to me by...

    re-fitting shower tray

The shower tray is 800cm and the width of recess is probably nearer 900cm - however I think a 900cm tray might be too big front to back for the recess

    re-fitting shower tray

My sister-in-law has asked me to re-do her shower room for her. I've done this in my own house but her current shower tray fits into a recess which is too wide for the tray. To compensate for this, whoever fitted it has built a shelf with tiles at the level of the tray to cover the gap. The...
