following my thread in the lofts section, it appears i need to stick some vented tiles in. can anyone put a name or make to the tiles in the pic? and better still, a reasonable place to purchase in west yorkshire area! cheers in advance!

not my usual subject, but doing the research.... after reading loads on insulating between roof purlins, leaving air gaps and eaves clear of woolly dog, my predicament is; the house is ex metro with concrete gutters (pics lower down) and there isnt an air gap in the soffit to start with...

bt used to have a ring test by dialling 174 and waiting for the engaged tone, then replacing the handset. as i'm on virgin cable this does'nt work, so was wondering if they have an equivelent or is it a case of ringing it from a mobile? and does the bt test still work on bt lines? cheers nrg

evening again! called out to a central heating system not warming up this aft, and to cut a story short, the pump wasnt pumping correctly. removal found the impellor spinning freely on the rotor. questions i now have are; a) anyone know where i get one before monday to get them heating back...
