do you mean the water could get to hot before entering the combi? could you put a valve that would bypass the combi if the water is to hot

Towards the combi boiler, I know this would be the long way to the radiators but the thought was if the combi was heating the water for the rads as well then it would not use as much gas to heat the water. I am making the assumption that combi boilers monitor the temperature of the water return...

The water is pumped after the header tank through the combi, all the rads and bbu then back to the header tank. would this work or am i just not getting it, can you explain a little more as i dont understand what you mean?
